The ISMA FCU-HL (BACnet MSTP / Modbus RS485) is a fan coil unit controller that effectively manages HVAC systems. It supports 256 types of fan coil units, streamlining the commissioning process. A dedicated DIP switch allows easy parameter adjustments, and the BACnet protocol enables automatic binding of master and slave controllers.
This controller incorporates the Sedona Framework, which allows for custom application development. It supports Modbus RTU/ASCII and BACnet MS/TP protocols, making it suitable for various comfort management tasks. With 18 onboard I/Os, the FCU-HL meets diverse control requirements.
The device includes four special inputs for temperature sensors, voltage, resistance, and current measurements. It features a fast pulse counter that can save up to 100 pulses per second to EEPROM memory. Additionally, it has four digital inputs for monitoring and five digital outputs, including three for fan control and others for electric heaters and cooling valve actuators.
For further control, the FCU-HL offers three 0-10 V DC analog outputs for heating, cooling, and fan speed management. Two triac outputs for thermal valve actuators can operate as binary outputs or use PWM modulation. Its open communication capability allows connection of up to 128 devices via two RS485 interfaces, ensuring easy integration into existing systems.
Configuration is simple, with a free programming tool and a Quick Start-up manual available for users. The ISMA FCU-HL suits those aiming to optimise fan coil unit operations and improve overall system efficiency.
