The ISMA FCU-HH (BACnet MSTP / Modbus RS485) controls fan coil units efficiently, supporting 256 types with a pre-loaded application. This built-in application simplifies commissioning and allows quick setup for popular fan coil models. A dedicated DIP switch makes parameter adjustments easy, while the BACnet protocol includes automatic binding for master and slave controllers within groups.
This controller uses the Sedona Framework for flexible programming and custom application creation. With 18 onboard I/Os and compatibility with Modbus RTU/ASCII and BACnet MS/TP protocols, the FCU-HH suits various comfort management applications beyond fan coil control.
The controller has four special inputs for different temperature sensors and can read voltage, resistance, current, and dry contact measurements. It features four digital inputs for monitoring, including a 100 Hz pulse counter that records real-time values to non-volatile memory.
The FCU-HH includes five digital outputs: three rated at 6 A for fan control, one rated at 10 A for electric heaters, and one rated at 6 A for cooling valve actuators. There are three 0-10 V DC analog outputs for managing heating actuators, cooling actuators, and fan speed control. Two triac outputs are available for heating and cooling thermal valve actuators, operating with a 230 V AC power supply.
Communication includes two RS485 interfaces, supporting up to 128 devices on a single bus. Configuration is straightforward with a free programming tool or through the Quick Start-up manual and DIP switches.
