The Gent Driver Upgrade Pack from Tyrrell Products Ltd integrates directly with Gent fire alarm systems and the SenTri range of panels. It supports installations of any size, from single-panel setups to multi-building configurations.
Licensing operates on a points system, with various point packs available for different project scales. To connect the Tridium controller to the fire system, a Gent panel with an Open Protocol Interface Card (model VIGIOC-DOM) is required. This setup enables reliable communication and control across systems.
The driver supports direct RS232 connections from field-level controllers, such as JACE or Tyrrell IoT Controllers. For remote access, an additional IP-RS232 Device Server is needed for connections to a Web Supervisor. This configuration improves the operational capabilities of your fire alarm system.
