The Matrix Electronica / Webdyn EasyRouter Cellular Gateway is an industrial IoT cellular gateway that provides reliable connectivity and data management in tough environments. It features a 4G LTE Cat 1 modem, with fallback to 3G and 2G for a stable connection. Dual Mini-SIM slots add redundancy, making it suitable for critical applications in building management and Industry 4.0.

This device supports GNSS, including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS for precise location tracking. It has dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) for flexible wireless connectivity and a Gigabit Ethernet port for high-speed wired connections. Serial interfaces include RS-232 (RJ45) and RS-485 (terminal block), along with one digital input and one digital output for easy integration with other devices.

The EasyRouter operates on Webdyn’s TITAN v6 firmware, supporting protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP and MQTT. It provides data logging, VPN capabilities (IPsec/OpenVPN), and SMS control. Users can create custom applications using JavaScript, with many examples available to assist in implementation.

Powered by 7 to 30 VDC, the device is housed in a metal DIN-rail enclosure measuring approximately 113 × 30.5 × 90 mm and weighs around 195 g. It functions effectively across an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for various IoT applications.
